My recent project for EITB, the main channel of the Basque Country, took me to Nogales, Arizona, where I documented the ongoing story of immigration along the U.S.-Mexico border. With the 2024 elections approaching, this issue remains central to political conversations, making it even more essential to capture the realities faced by people here. Using my drone, I was able to capture sweeping aerial views of the border landscapes, providing a unique perspective on a place marked by both hardship and resilience.

This project shed light on the complex dynamics at play as the political climate continues to evolve. Through aerial shots and on-the-ground footage, we aimed to offer viewers a closer look at the human impact of policies and choices that will shape the border’s future. Working on this for EITB was a meaningful opportunity to bring visibility to the stories of individuals and communities whose voices are often overshadowed in election-year narratives.
